RAW "Kung Pao" Broccoli & mushrooms
This recipe is so good you will eat the entire thing in one sitting like I did. ANd it makes a LOT! Tastes just like kung pao chicken & broccoli - without the chicken. From http://rawon10.blogspot.com/
2 heads broccoli, cut into bite-size chunks 8 oz mushrooms, sliced 1 medium onion, sliced sesame seeds 3 TBSP olive oil 3 TBSP balsamic vinegar (I use Ume Plum Vinegar ) 3 TBSP honey 1 tsp (2 cloves) minced garlic 1 tsp paprika 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper red pepper flakes to taste (I used a dash of cayenne instead) whisk together all marinade ingredients. Let broccoli, mushrooms & onion marinate overnight for best flavor. Stick in the dehydrator for 1/2-1 hour to warm up before serving. Sprinkle w/sesame seeds and add red pepper flakes if desired. Enjoy! |
