Help me ID my plants
I'm a very novice gardener and our new house has lots of landscaping. I'm not sure what most of it is or how to take care of it.
Can those in the know take a look at these pictures and help me with plant identification? Here's one to start with: ---------- Post added at 12:45 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:44 PM ---------- Ok, so I know that's a rose bush ... is it still alive? What is the ground cover? I know the white flowers at bottom left are sweet allysum.

Re: Help me ID my plants
I asked DH he said based on what he saw he is guessing a pretty lush wood violet. THe bush is still alive. He says the ground covering likes wet shaddy areas and it looks like it is doing great so basically just let its conditions countinue. What part of CA are you? That could help.
