Re: Are you veg and your DH isn't?
I had been very strict vegan when I met/married DH for years. He always loved my (protein-rich) veggie meals from the get-go and never expected me to cook him meat. However, doing so doesn't gross me out and I still cook it if I am making him a special meal. Now that I know more about grass-fed beef/pastured chicken, I buy that instead for DH when I do cook him meat. DD eats it too when I cook it, and I really want to make sure she isn't going to get sick from meat. I want DD to make the decision to be vegetarian on her own, if that is what she wants to do.
Lately, DH will comment that I tend to cook more for me and not for him. He tends to like very unhealthy/comfort foods. Now that I am nauseous all the time from the first trimester, I am sure he is on cloud nine ordering out meaty stuff all the time. Oh well... I think he is just grateful that he has a wife who can cook well (not to brag but I love to cook and do so pretty well )... at least when I am not in the first-trimester

Re: Are you veg and your DH isn't?
I started this thread almost a month ago and have made some good improvements. I no longer buy meat, so all our meals are veg, or made with grassfed local freezer beef (once a week max). DH knows I won't make meat anymore unless it comes from a farmer I know and trust, so he hasn't said anything. If he wants meat, he can buy it himself or eat it at the restaurant he works at.

Re: Are you veg and your DH isn't?
I'm vegetarian and DH isn't. I went veg well before I met him, and while it would occasionally cause issues early on in our relationship ("I really wish you ate meat!" "I just don't get why you don't eat meat!"), now he's actually happy with it. He has high cholesterol, and part of how he's managing it is eating significantly less meat.
