It's hard to tell by the picture, but if it is mold, you really need to start totally over.

It's hard to see in those pictures. Is it fuzzy? Mine has little white dots, but they are hard and almost like little compressed air pockets or something. If it isn't fuzzy, I don't think I would worry. If it is, get rid of everything.

It's not fuzzy. I just poked it and it moved like it was an air pocket. I think it may be ok

So how do I know if it's done. Today is day 7 the brew process. How should it taste. I tasted it with a straw and it tastes acidic to me and the baby on top is thin. Should I take it out? From what I read it will become more acidic if I let it continue to brew.

Well, you don't want it to taste like sweet tea...

But you don't want it tasting like ACV either.

Somewhere in the middle is good. Only you will know what consistency you can handle right now.

Ok, I think it is somewhere in the middle. I don't actually like tea at all. This is really for DH. Can I flavor it with apple sauce (no citric acid)?

I don't like how it taste. It tastes like slightly ascidic tea. Is that what it's supposed to taste like? I'm going to let it sit and get fizzy and see how I like that. I really just hope DH drinks it.

Learningmama that looks completely normal. The finished taste (unflavored) is kinda like hard cider. The flavored ones are like wine coolers, but tasty.

I think applesauce would result in a weird texture but it should work.

Any fresh or frozen fruit is fine but NO dried fruit. (dried fruits are high in mold)
