Pumpkin Juice?

I am reading the second Harry Potter book to my kiddos and noticed in the book they drink pumpkin juice. I had never heard of that before. Is that something made up for the book, or is pumpkin juice something common some places?

Do any of you drink pumpkin juice or have a good recipe for it? I found this one I might try. It sounds like a good drink for fall!

I found a recipe that sounds good!

16 ounces of apple cider
5.5 ounce can of pear nectar
6 Tablespoon pumpkin puree
1/4 teaspoon apple pie spice
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Mix all ingredients in a blender and serve cold.

Sounds yummy, but if it has apple cider, no can do.

If I drink apple cider, I'm running to the bathroom all day long.

Yeah, it has that effect on some people.

That would be a bummer!

I love apple cider!

Here are the ingredients:

2 cups of pumpkin
2 large carrots
2 apples
1 pear
1″ piece of ginger

I love the idea of using fresh veggies and fruit!
