Best Food Processor?
I have a Vitamix, but I am thinking of investing in a food processor as well. Those are preferable for mixing dense things like frozen yogurts and raw creations etc, right?
What is the best food processor? What is an average price for a decent food processor? What do I need to keep my eyes open for when looking for one?

Re: Best Food Processor?
I don't know about best prices, etc. but I love my food processor. It's a Magimix 5150. I've had it for about six years and use it all the time. It's the best way to make pie dough! I tried to find a link to one to show you, but it looks like they're not available anymore.
Cooks Illustrated tested them and they recommend the Cuisinart Custom 14-Cup Food Processor. Funny enough, I'm looking at getting a Vitamix....

I have a cuisenart and I love it. Stay away from kitchen aid. I spent $200 on a kit he aid food processor and it broke and kitchen aid refused to do anything g about it. Plus even before it broke it was just not good.

I love my cuisinart. It's quiet enough that I no longer have to warn dh and ds to leave the room. They are very sensory sensitive.

That's so true! I actually dragged dh out of bed to hear how quiet it was!
