It's a peanutbutter cake. The cake mix doctor has a recipe for it. If you'd like to have the recipe let me know and I'll get it for you. It's SO yummy!

you've all made such beautiful cakes....

this is the first decorated cake I made that posted on another thread

and I decorated this one last night, I think it's very ugly.... but I wasn't doing something right and the fondant kept ripping apart, it was just not going well but I figured the more I practice, the better I can get.

here's what ive got on my comp

this was kenzie's 4th bday
3 round cakes stacked and cut by me, so it's quite lopsided
I make my own 'buttercream' icing

then abbey's 4th bday, a bt more lopsided, lol!

and the 'extra' i did

ive done a dora, atleast one standing care bear, and a couple others
i thik the last i actually decorated was that one for abbey's 4th bday though

I'm going to be attempting these cakes over the summer:
http://www.creativepastries.fws1.com...corps_cake.jpg
http://www.cakebypaulasurrette.com/i...ickeysclub.jpg
http://lh3.ggpht.com/_AKmW8-BTpYs/SB...s/HPIM3705.jpg

http://www.sprinklesprinklecakes.com...iousgeorge.jpg
http://images.google.com/imgres?imgu...icial%26sa%3DN

Okay not ALL of them. Just a couple. The curious george and mickey for DDs birthday (can't decide which) and the Marine cake for my brother before he ships off to boot camp.

I really like that one.

And with the MMF, I find that a little extra Crisco rubbed into the parts that are easily ripping really helps.

thank you!! I'll try the crisco if I have that problem again.

I love the Barbie cakes, they don't look lopsided to me.

I find that it does need to be brand name Crisco. The other shortenings have an odor that makes the fondant taste gross.
