Gluten free chicken pot pies and lettuce salad with parmesan ranch. We ate outside which was fun.

Tonight we had pasta with dairy fres Alfredo sause that I wouldn't feel bad about serving my very foodie brother who has no allergies.

I was super super happy with it, Dh liked it ( he really doesn't care he cares less about food than anyone I have evermet) the girls wouldn't even try it.

Charla, do you have a good gf crust recipe for the pot pie?

I bailed last night & got teriyaki take out.

Tonight is pasta with browned butter & myzithra for dd2's 15th birthday. When did that happen?!

I do for a bottom crust but not a top crust so I bought the chicken pot pies in the freezer section of the grocery store.

The pie crust recipe is one that you pat into a pan because it is pretty crumbly. It just doesn't roll out, so I can't figure out how to put it on the top of a pie. It's a very yummy bottom crust though.

That is what I have found with gf pie crust. It's so frustrating because my regular pie crust is amazing! And I haven't been able to replicate it gf. (tbh, I haven't tried to many times. It's too frustrating and it's just me that needs it.)

Since I'm also egg free that makes gluten free baking much more complicated.
