Birthday Soup
Early Bird has been reading Little Bear.
When I asked her what she wants to eat for real food at her birthday party she said "Birthday Soup" when I ask what goes in Birthday soup she gives me the list from the book: carrots and potatoes, peas and tomatoes. So do any of you have a good recipe for soup that has carrots and potatoes, peas and tomatoes? We are dairy free and the carrots need to not be pureed, Early Bird reacts to them, I need to be able to pull most of them out of her bowel. Some how just throwing those in to a broth (I have a home made chicken broth that I am working on right now made) doesn't seam like enough for soup to serve guest.
