New month...new thread
Tonight we are having meatballs, veggies and potato bake (DS #2's request) Strange combination but if it gets eaten I don't mind!!

Re: June 2020 dinners
I’m trying a new recipe tonight, a Mediterranean dish with halloumi, vegetables and beans. I have the ingredients but I probably should check to see how long it will take to cook.

Re: June 2020 dinners
Pad Thai.
I made it last month but it wasn't spicy at all. Im going to increase the spice this time around. I am also going to do a combo of rice noodles and zucchini noodles for the noodles.

I think we'll have Asian Lettuce Wraps tonight. Rice on the side.

Re: June 2020 dinners
I made a Thai coconut curry chicken tonight. So much better than the recipe I had been using! I could have made myself sick on it!

Re: June 2020 dinners
Tonight will be spaghetti casserole. I made a chicken, potato and spinach curry last night but it just didn't taste good I don't know if the recipe had an ingredient missing but the picture looked an orange curry colour but mine was pale white. Anyway, its the only new recipe that I've made over the past few months that we didn't like so I guess that's okay...can't win 'em all

Re: June 2020 dinners
Today's Birthday Girl asked for Hot Mashed 'otatoes for dinner. When asked what she wanted to go with that, she replied, "Mashed potatoes.......maybe some kale chips." I snuck a salad in on the Birthday kid who didn't want any veggies without any issues. Do you think I can sneak in some protein on this one? I've got a flank steak defrosting.
