Question for cautious vaccinators

Good morning,

My daughter (she turned 2 in July and we started her DPTP shots then) is due to have her third dose of DPTP on Monday morning, but last night she threw up. My older daughter was throwing up last weekend, so I guess it's a bug - I had thought we were in the clear. This morning she's nursing, drinking, eating a bit, but feverish and quiet.

Would you cancel the appointment?

I wouldn't vaccinate with a fever and would reschedule.

I would probably wait until the last possible minute to cancel but yea, I'd cancel with a fever. I'm pretty sure that if you went in & they asked about a fever that they would send her home without the shot. I personally wouldn't want my kid to be sick prior to a vax because if the fever spiked or other symptoms developed I'd want to know it was or wasn't related to the vax.

We selectively space his vax.
