Bursitis?
I may have Bursitis in my knee. Know anything about that?
I've iced it some. Taken Ibuprofen for a few days at doctor's recommendation. The funny thing is that it does not hurt when I walk. And I walk about 2 miles a day. It is achy sometimes at night and hurts to bend it tightly, like in sitting Indian style. Will have chiropractor adjust it again. The hip on that side is hurting some too. I'm not old enough for this!

Re: Bursitis?
Have a look at the book Pain Free by Pete Egoscue. Your local library might have it. Chances are *very* good that if you do the menu in the knee chapter, you can take care of it. It'll probably fix the hip too. But if it doesn't, you can move to the hip chapter afterwards.
You can also do some reading on Katy Bowman's site, that's another great place to look for info. |

Re: Bursitis?
Thank you! I put a hold on it from my library.
I did realize that I did do a tiny bit of jogging, that could have made this worse. My plan is to ice it 1-2 times a day and ease back on walking. My dog needs her walks but I can walk 1 mile instead of two and walk not so briskly. Will see how that helps while I wait to get the book.

Re: Bursitis?
What helps me most when I have a flare up in my elbow keep reinjuring is magnesium - epsom salt baths or rub mag gel in
