Anyone have a smaller oven? - Page 2

I get it. I need visual order, and that would totally annoy me. But even a narrow oven wouldn't line up with the hood vent because it hangs further on the right side. So you'd be stuck with a small oven and still have an asymmetrical kitchen

Would you also buy a smaller hood to match the smaller stove?

If you stick with a standard width stove is it an option to move the installation of the hood to the left a bit to match up with the stove? I mean, it would hang over the cupboard a bit, but that may be the lesser evil to the eye.

Tho I admit I know nothing about installation issues or if that's even an option. That's a hubby question in my household.

I was thinking as long as I was spending money, might as well buy a new vent hood

That hood is rickety anyways, and I was thinking I could fill the extra space to the window with a very narrow cabinet, for pans and such. So even if the oven and hood aren't exactly lined up, at least it's closer to being even and it would fill the space without overhanging the window.

Honestly, I'd be very tempted to go with a smaller one.

I like things symmetrical and pretty.
