Can I make banana bread with 1 banana?

I have 1 overripe banana. What can I do with it? Or should I just freeze it until I have more?

it wouldn't be very banana-y. Last time I made banana bread i used 7. chop it up and freeze it, then you can throw it in with a smoothie or save it till you get more bad bananas =D

I freeze them until I have so many they are spilling out. For each loaf in my recipe it's 3 bananas.

I make mine with two bananas, but maybe you could try some other fruit with it?

I just stuck it in the freezer. Is it easier if I chop it up and freeze it in a bag?

I never have made banana bread, but have been wanting to. I didnt' like it as a kid, but now I do.

You can chop it up and put it in pancakes.

Also, you can put it in the fridge while you wait for others to ripen. It will last about a week in there.

haha! i could have made half the recipe, well actually no, it's hard to put in half an egg. Hhhmmm, never had banana pancakes.

Throw is in there as you would blueberries. Maybe add some chocolate chips and put peanut butter on top after it's cooked

I stick overripe whole bananas in the freezer, and wait till I have enough to make bread or muffins. When I want to use them, I let them thaw on the counter for a few minutes, then cut the end off and squeeze the banana out. No mashing required. Ellie loves squeezing the bananas into the mixing bowl.

I had 2 in the freezer I was saving before we moved but figured there was no point in moving frozen black bananas. I'll just start over.
