I just tried to make divinity for my brother for his xmas present. Operative word here "tried." Let's see, my kitchen is a mess with sticky crystally sugar mixture, my mixer is toast, and I burned my hand with some of the sugar mixture, complete with blister. Awesome. My pan is filled with hard as a rock sugar mixture because while I was fighting with my dying mixer I let the temp get too high on the sugar and then while trying to salvage the candy, I let the mixture sit. Bleh. Do you hear the sad violin in the background?

Now, what do I do with failed divinity? Can I salvage it into anything?

that stinks. divinity is sooo hard to make. it depends on so many variables, down to the humidity in the hair. i have no idea if you can salvage the fail but i wanted to give you a
