Thursday 5 Minute Challenge/ To Do List

Good morning! (And yes, it is still morning on the west coast .)

I started off the day with plenty of energy and motivation...and then I got distracted.

I need to stay focussed. Who is with me?

To start, I will tie my hair back and start cooking. I cleaned out the fridges and there are odds and ends that need to be juiced, cooked or prepped for dinner. My island counter is full of these bits.

I'll come back with an update and my next to-do list.

Juicing is done. Veggie plate prepped for dinner. Bread dough is proofing for pizzas. I also returned a phone call.

Next to-do list:
-finish making pizzas
-clean all dishes
-quick tidy/dust of main rooms of the house
-gather laundry and start a load is there is a need
-start dishwasher

I'm struggling to get the final bits of unpacking from our vacation done, as well as prep for full school next week! So I'm here!

First, feed kids and myself lunch.

We have a super busy day tomorrow and fairly busy weekend. Most important on the list is making a meal to take to a friend with a new baby tomorrow. I'm making lasagna (her request ), roasted veggies, and cobbler. Which will probably take most of what's left of the afternoon once DH gets home with groceries! We have HS co-op tomorrow so I need to make something for dinner for us that will be good leftover lunch. Diapers are in the washing machine but I'm out of detergent, waiting on DH for that too. Z fell asleep on the couch so I can't do anything too noisy, like the dishes which would be really helpful. So I'm working on some computer stuff for my volunteer job while G watches Wild Kratts It's been raining all day and he's even tired of playing in it.

• bulletin
• copying for church
• packing for women's retreat

I've got random cleaning in the kitchen to do next

I'm washing a load of stuffed animals right now. They got dirty during our move and I've been procrastinating.
Also trying to tidy up each room in 5 minute spurts each. It won't be a deep cleaning of any room, but should make a noticible difference!

Got all the food made! Dishwasher is running, just a few big pans that didn't fit that can wait until morning Lunch for tomorrow is made and in the fridge which feels like a huge weight off my shoulders for tomorrow morning.
