We were busy this weekend. We shampooed the whole down stairs, and the stairs, as well as the couch and recliner.

Our family fun was a picnic and nature walk yesterday, to look for signs of spring. And today DS turned three. We had some friends over and he got mini cupcakes and orange soda (a huge treat, as we don't buy soda for the house). Overall it was a good weekend.

PRE-CHALLENGE:
For those who are ready and raring to go, I have a few "pre-challenge challenges"! Points count toward your final total (not the first week).

Goodwill/Donation run- if you have a pile of things ready to go, clear them out now to make room for all the stuff you'll find during the next three weeks! Get them out of your house and get a bonus 500 points! 1000
Declutter all surfaces- it helps to have something done, so get your surfaces cleaned off! 100points for every table, counter, bathroom vanity or dresser that is cleared of clutter by Monday morning!
Before pictures- Take before pictures of your house (or a video tour!) to show us what you are starting with. 300 pts 300
Any of the regular chores- for all the "daily" or "weekly" chores above, takethe points for them and add them here. It will help you get into the routine of recording what you do!
Family fun- Take some time as a family this weekend and do something fun. Let us know what it was! 500pts 500

Edited: Moved my tally to the week one thread.

Today was kind of a bust as far as the challenge went. V had a dr. appt that was 4 hours long, so not much got done. I did cook, bake some bread for the week, and do a load of laundry, but nothing else really. Tomorrow is a day at home though! I'm excited to rack up some points!!!

Monday : 520. I had big plans today, then fell down the back stairs and spent the rest of the day with ice

Oops. So I basically only got done what had to get done - and mama time reading magazines while I iced various pieces of me. (nothing but a few bruises! I mostly feel dumb. Trying to wear DH's flip flops because they were closer and they're way too big)
