Osteopath vs Naturopath....
My son has a thyroid condition and I mentioned to my brother yesterday that I was looking for a naturopath to help us sort things out. He asked if I had considered an osteopath instead.
Can anyone help me sort out the differences and figure out which might be the best options. Apparently osteopaths are more common, but I don't want to take the easy way out either.

So the chart says OD's "are specially trained in the nervous system and the musculoskeletal system". Does that mean since my son's issues are immune based that a naturopath might be the better path?

Fwiu some ODs are quite similar to your average MD while others are quite different. I'm not super clear on how other than that some do manipulations similar to a chiro?
Hopefully someone who has seen one will chime in. I'm positive I've read threads about it if you search.

Agree some practice conventional medicine we had one years ago was great.Had a lot of knowledge about herbs,vitamins,meds,did adjustments but also could write Rx and a lot are surgeons
