What can you tell me about tetanus?
Ds was playing with an old camping fork and cut himself. Should we be concerned about tetanus?
A few years ago he stepped on something in our yard and ended up with a staph infection..the hospital didn't seem concerned about tetanus then or him not having his shot |

Re: What can you tell me about tetanus?
I'm no doctor, but I wouldn't worry too much unless it was really dirty, rusty, or in a place where it could have mouse droppings and such. I would probably scrub the wind really well with some sort of anti bacterial and keep a close eye on it and him for any signs of infection or symptoms of tetanus. Maybe you can call in to his doctors office for more sound advice to put your mind at ease.
