Diatomaceous earth

Okay, I know I have read here about people taking food grade DE internally. Can anyone tell me more? What exactly the benefits are, dosage for adults and kids, how to take it?

Start with 1/4 teaspoon and work up to a dose that feels comfortable to you (ie doesn't constipate you, stops the issues you were trying to stop). I never went above 2 teaspoons a day for me and 1/4 teaspoon a day for the kids.

I got a raging headache the first couple of days and had lots of wiggly things in my stools. Saw lots in my DD's stools too. Nothing in hubby or son's.

Seemed to help with anxiety.
