My son has been wearing my Fitbit Charger 2 and it's dead now. I'll keep watching and see if I can afford a replacement or check out the Vitbit thing Lisa mentioned.

I LOVE my Instant Pots. I have 2. The biggest one and the regular one. The big one can't be used for rice and grains unless you're making a lot. I usually make 3 cups of dry rice at a time and I use my smaller one. I use my bigger one for roasts and broth. I tend to buy the biggest roast I can find so we have leftovers. If I was only going to have one, I'd get the regular size, unless you don't plant to cook grains in it.

Runners tend not to like the VivoFits. I'm a hiker so it was perfect for me.
yes and yes. YES to the IP. I LOVE mine. I'm not a gadget person and an inspiring minimalist and I still LOVE mine.

And I've heard the same about the watches. I'm a runner and love my forerunner.

I had a Garmin VivoFit 2. They latest model is the Garmin VivoFit 4 and, so far, the reviews are problematic, people have trouble pairing it with their phone. I definitely don't want that hassle. If you're not going to pair it, it would probably be great great.

It only does time, steps, calories burned, stopwatch, distance, and sleep monitoring. It never needs to be charged and it water resistant, which I loved. I had mine for 2 1/2 years and was still on the same battery.

It doesn't have GPS or monitor heart rate. GPS is what makes the distance tracking accurate. With the VivoFit I entered my average stride length and it multiplied that by my steps to get a distance. It was fine for my purposes. People who run a lot usually want more accuracy than that.

Prime Day is July 16-17th. I am so excited to replace my kindle e-reader.

Starts at 3 pm on the 16th and goes for 36 hours. You must be a Prime member but you can get a trial subscription and then cancel if Prime isn't something you need. Apparently the Amazon app is going to be the best way to see all the deals. I much prefer shopping on my laptop unless I know exactly what I need.

I've heard there are good baby deals and I'll be in the window to use my registry discount. I don't really need any big ticket items - though I like the looks of this.

I have that and REALLY like it. The baby enjoys it and it folds up when we need it out of the way. It's not super quick to put away or set up, but it's not a big drag.

That's so good to know! It recently went up in price about $20 so I'm hoping it will go back down again before he can use it.

I love Audible! I'm on a "hold" type of membership right now, so that 3-month membership is a very good deal! Just need to remember to cancel that and go back to my "hold" membership later!

Amazon Basics are 20% off now through Prime Day. If you don't go to Costco, Amazon Basics batteries are the next best when it comes to performance and value. They also have towels, bedding, etc. Haven't tried those but I am really disappointed in the bedding I recently bought at a store and it wasn't cheap! I may try Amazon Basics sheets.

Let us know what you think of the sheets! We just got AB batteries last month - great price and not quite as huge quantity as Costco.

Last year there was a good deal on Prismacolor pencils.

I took advantage of a pre-Prime Day deal on Wag dog food. I don't really expect to buy much else, if anything. Although maybe I'll find myself browsing all the Basics deals. But that's still not likely to get me to buy much.
I do have two sets of Amazon Basics Sheets from two years ago. They're great. But different to what's available now and cheaper too, so

The best thing about Prime Day is DH will get 12 hours of overtime.

Hubby wants an electronic picture frame.

I think Dad needs a Dot. He got a Microwoft Cortana. I'm not impressed.

I'd like a picture scanner.
