Thank you for that information. Do those flea tablets have an allergic reaction? I have been hearing about that flea pill but I'm worried that it might cause adverse effects on my dogs. Their skins are little sensitive.
But I guess it's really effective since the fleas on your cat were completely eliminated.

We used to always struggle with fleas, but haven't seen any since switching to Seresto collars a couple of years ago.
Thanks for this MrsHutch. Did the Seresto collar cause an allergy or skin reddening to your dog?

I assume you've already tried flea shampoo and frontline?

Thanks for your suggestions, ECingMama. I have been using Frontline but the fleas keep on coming back. By the way, what should I do with the rose geranium oil? Should I apply it directly on their coat?

The directions on that website said to put on their skin at the base of their neck and base of tail. That's what we've done. It says 1-2 drops. Mine comes out pretty quickly so it's hard to only get 1-2 drops. It smells pretty intense. I tend to only use it when we're hiking although I did put it on last week because of being outside in tall grass.

Other sites have talked about putting on collars for *preventative* flea protection.

We saw the vet today. No signs of fleas. And they aren't bad in my area anyway! The vet tech doesn't even treat her dogs at all! (And they don't get fleas.)

I really hope you're able to get this under control very soon!

No, it's never bothered our dog, cat, or our skin when we touch it.
