Cloth Napkins - Page 2

I pick them up when I find them on clearance.

Also I look for them at those discount style stores - like Tuesday Morning or there is a pottery one here (forget the name offhand) & them there.

My MIL keeps giving me towel sets with finger towels. I use the finger towels as napkins.

One friend bought the bulk washclothes from Walmart to use as napkins. She zigzagged the edges with a different color of thread for each person, and they use the for days, tossing them in the wash when they are noticeably dirty.

We have resorted to using paper napkins when guests come over because our cloth napkins are so worn!

I bought mine at Pier One about 16 years ago and we still have them. They were on clearance after Valentine's Day but they weren't Valentine napkins.

Mine are 100% cotton and I certainly don't iron them. They look just fine after being folded. My littles fold the napkins.

Sometimes dh will decide to iron something, but it's never been the napkins.
