Fabulous Friday 5 minute challenge

These have kind of petered out, but hopefully with the new SHBC they will pick back up. Its always more fun to play if there are more people.

I'll explain for newbies.

Every time you see this thread pop up in your user cp, get up, set a timer and see how much you can get done. Then come back and post what you got done.

Adding for the newbies: If the timer approach doesn't work, feel free to make a to-do list and let us know how you are doing with your list.

I've started laundry, and I'm dressed (when I have nowhere to go anytime soon, this is a big deal

).

My to do list:
-take out garbage and recycling
-start next load of laundry
-put away my laundry
-damp wipe the master bathroom (dusting and walls...it has otherwise been cleaned)
-make lunch

Thanks. I never played with the to do list, so didn't know how it worked.

I shampooed the rug in the dining room (we did the carpet last night, and had to wait for it to dry to put the rug down and the table back.)

Washing bedding

Loaded dishwasher

Hand washed pots and pans

Put trash out the front door

Took pictures of my chaos for the SHBC

Fed the kids

Got everyone dressed

Revised list:
-put away my laundry
-finish unpacking suitcases (From 2 months ago. I would put blushing smilie, but I actually had culture shock pretty bad after going to Haiti, and I couldn't make myself deal with all my bags--I did initially take out the laundry and food stuffs)
-dust all the things in my bedroom (with a damp cloth)
-wash my bed linens
