Default Once A Month Meals?

Has anyone tried this site for freezer cooking?
I think it used to be called the once a month mom, didn't it?
I am wanting to try more freezer cooking, and the once a month mom website really appealed to me because of the way it is organized.
I got a membership, but the recipes do not seem very appealing to me.
Maybe because we are dairy free, and the dairy free plan is also gluten free, which we are not.
I can swap out recipes, though. Does anyone have any recipes they have tried that their family really enjoyed enough that you would make them again even if you were not trying to do freezer cooking?

I tried it for a month or 2 about a year or so ago. I didn't really enjoy the recipes at all.

We were gluten-free long before we were dairy-free, and I loved perusing her website for ideas to get me out of a rut. She's how I was first introduced to cooking withe coconut aminos (I avoid things like soy sauce, so it was nice to know I could make Chinese recipes!) . That said, I have never actually done once a month cooking. I do like that her recipes all have freezing directions, though, so if I make extra I know how to store it.

There were a couple of flops, but I loved the Real Chicken Broccoli casserole... and her Beef and Broccoli is amazing... the homemade cream of something soup is an awesome base... I'd hafta go pull out m y recipe book and see what else I have printed out that is from her. I just know those are off the top of my head.

---------- Post added at 02:00 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:58 PM ----------

I wouldn't make em again if they weren't yummy.

I don't subscribe to her site for all the shopping lists and stuff like that, though... I just peruse the database and pick out recipes I like the look of. *shrug*

I really, really need to start doing this. I've printed out a couple of free plans for freezer slow cooker meals and over half the recipes we didn't like. They were really bland and liquid-y. (I'm generally not a fan of slow cookers because of the excess liquid.)

---------- Post added at 11:10 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:09 PM ----------

I'd be willing to pay for really good recipes with realistic prep plans. I'd like to have about fifteen to twenty meals in my freezer every month.

Can we make a list of all websites/books, whether free or paid, that offer OAMC?

Can you just go to the website and access this? Or does this cost a subscription?

Unless sh has changed the format since January (we were without Internet for a stretch, and I just haven't gotten back there yet), you can access the recipes without a subscription. The subscription, I believe, means you actually get a full menu plan each month with a shopping list made up for you, etc. Great for some folks, but doesn't fit our needs - so I just pick and choose from her past recipe database.

Here's the recipe database : http://onceamonthmeals.com/recipes/

Those all sound good. I think when I was looking before, I was avoiding beef recipes because we did not have any beef, and I would have to mostly do chicken, pork, or fish. I just get so tired of chicken, and fish and pork that are not from a questionable source cost too much. But, we finally got our 1/2 a cow so I have a freezer full of beef.

I am laughing at the "tetanus frittata".
I don't know if I'd eat that!
I am assuming it is tomato. Do egg dishes freeze well?

It was "feta " actually and I have never frozen that recipe... we are down to just a few hens, so we eat as many eggs as they lay in a day, typically if they're not breakfast, thhey're incorporated into another meal. My young Buckeyes neednto he about three months older, right now.
