Once A Month Meals?
Has anyone tried this site for freezer cooking?
I think it used to be called the once a month mom, didn't it? I am wanting to try more freezer cooking, and the once a month mom website really appealed to me because of the way it is organized. I got a membership, but the recipes do not seem very appealing to me. Maybe because we are dairy free, and the dairy free plan is also gluten free, which we are not. I can swap out recipes, though. Does anyone have any recipes they have tried that their family really enjoyed enough that you would make them again even if you were not trying to do freezer cooking?

I tried it for a month or 2 about a year or so ago. I didn't really enjoy the recipes at all.

Re: Once A Month Meals?
There were a couple of flops, but I loved the Real Chicken Broccoli casserole... and her Beef and Broccoli is amazing... the homemade cream of something soup is an awesome base... I'd hafta go pull out m y recipe book and see what else I have printed out that is from her. I just know those are off the top of my head.
---------- Post added at 02:00 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:58 PM ---------- I wouldn't make em again if they weren't yummy. I don't subscribe to her site for all the shopping lists and stuff like that, though... I just peruse the database and pick out recipes I like the look of. *shrug*

Re: Once A Month Meals?
I really, really need to start doing this. I've printed out a couple of free plans for freezer slow cooker meals and over half the recipes we didn't like. They were really bland and liquid-y. (I'm generally not a fan of slow cookers because of the excess liquid.)
---------- Post added at 11:10 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:09 PM ---------- I'd be willing to pay for really good recipes with realistic prep plans. I'd like to have about fifteen to twenty meals in my freezer every month. Can we make a list of all websites/books, whether free or paid, that offer OAMC? |

Can you just go to the website and access this? Or does this cost a subscription?

I am laughing at the "tetanus frittata". I don't know if I'd eat that! I am assuming it is tomato. Do egg dishes freeze well?
