Nut butter & squash brownies gf/df SO GOOD!
Seriously, you'll swear these are made with flour!!!! High in protein and vit A, too!
1 egg 1 cup nut butter (any kind) 1/2 cup squash puree (pumpkin, butternut, etc. Canned or frozen, thaw if frozen) 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 cup maple syrup or honey Lightly beat egg. Add remaining ingred and mix well. Add chopped nuts and/or choc chips if desired. Bake in a greased 8 or 9 inch square pan at 350F for 25 minutes or until center springs back when pressed lightly. Don't overbake. Adapted from KerryAnn Foster's "Cooking Traditional Foods" Posted via Mobile Device |
