Re: large dish rack ideas needed
if you aren't going to fix the dishwasher and are looking for long term solutions, i think you are going to want to think of more storage solutions. like can you hang your mugs
http://www.kohls.com/product/prd-194...FdNwMAodmn8AuA can you hang your pots? that way they are being stored and dried at the same time. there isn't going to be a bigger option for a drying rack then a dishwasher that i can think of

Re: large dish rack ideas needed
Thing is it seems to be attracting bugs Im guessing because of the moisture collecting in the bottom?

Re: large dish rack ideas needed
Maybe you can remake it so there is nothing left but the rollers and racks. You'll also need a way to empty it. Massive a drain, or a removable basin. I would put a towel there and replace it daily, but I don't mind laundry.

Re: large dish rack ideas needed
I sometimes put my oven racks on top of the stove. That works well for pots, bowls, baking pans, etc. For plates I would buy one or two regular dish drainers. For silverware I would use whatever silverware thing is in the dishwasher- just take it out and put it on the counter.

Re: large dish rack ideas needed
I think k the simplest would be to have someone dry as another washes. Then no racks or counter space are needed (or at least very little). This is how we did it growing up and of course I hated it but it did give one on one time.
