Re: How do you grocery shop?
Not here but some other cities do. I wish! I'd take advantage of it.

Re: How do you grocery shop?
It's shopping alone, and fast that has me worried about flying produce
My work is in the same complex/vicinity of Costco and another supersize grocery store (superstore, for my fellow Canadians), and I pass our local (somewhat pricier, by good sales and service) store on my way home. Our Costco is apparently the busiest in Canada, or North America, depending who you talk to - I get in and out fastest there at 5pm, so 2pm is busier. There are some things u pretty much only buy at Costco, other things I am more flexible with. It's all about lists and k owing my prices. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: How do you grocery shop?
We do, but for us it would be too expensive, I couldn't pick up cheap close-to-pull-date items, and the one time we did it we got some iffy produce.

Re: How do you grocery shop?
I pick one kid and pick either Aldi or Kroger, depending on what we have. My husband hangs with the other two.
I rarely make lists. I get a lot of the same stuff every single week and I shop for five days. Hubby picks up odds and ends a couple of times in the week. Shopping takes about an hour plus driving and uploading time. I guess it's quick because there isn't a ton of variety? |

Re: How do you grocery shop?
During nicer weather, I drop kids and DH at the park and shop alone.
Or I take ds2 while Ds1 is in school. Or I go after dinner while they play with DH. Sam's pull and pay looks like a wonderful option later. Kroger is testing a similar model. Aldi is where I get most of our dailies. I can buy $100 and be out in 35 min right now because of the routine. (I bring a bag of bags and sack everything in the lot while boys watch a video in their seats) ---------- Post added at 10:04 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:03 PM ---------- We're also trying to do a monthly menu to streamline the pantry and take thinking out of cooking.

Re: How do you grocery shop?
We have one local store that does online ordering and delivery, depending on where you live. It's a $5 fee. But I can't shop the generics that way, which means I'd spend more money.

How do you grocery shop?
I go to one store weekly (usually WF) and Costco monthly. We just got a Trader Joes 10 minutes from my house so I'll start going there. I took both girls today (4 and 8 months) and I'm not doing that again anytime soon. Both were fine but baby was tired of bring worn half way through and just bucked the entire time. I feel worn out and tense.
