Re: April 2020 Dinners
I wish my kids would eat soup.
Dh bought a small ham roast and a small lamb roast for Easter (he wasn't sure what everyone would eat). I forgot about the ham and just cooked the lamb on Sunday. Dh and Prima do.not.like.ham. What should I do with it?

Re: April 2020 Dinners
Last night I made Mini Honey-Mustard Meatloaves, potatoes au gratin, and roasted green beans.
Tonight we're ordering from one of my favorite restaurants because they have a deal....I'm excited .

We got a diy charcuterie board from a local restaurant along with a bottle of red wine. We munched on that while I cooked dinner. We had pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes and peas with a creamy mushroom sauce. Also I made a carrot slaw the day before and I ate that with it. I wish the others would help me eat this! It's so good! Banana pudding (again) because I have an overabundance of bananas. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

Re: April 2020 Dinners
Friday we had Pie Five pizzas. Last night we had seasoned thin chicken breasts with marinara over cheesy grits with asparagus from the garden. Today I'm planning chili.

Re: April 2020 Dinners
Last night was grilled chicken salad.
Tonight is hamburgers with raw veggies. ---------- Post added at 09:42 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:39 AM ---------- I've never tried making this; I usually turn my extra bananas into muffins. Do you have a favorite recipe for banana pudding?

Mix 3 cups milk 1 can sweetened condensed milk 1 vanilla pudding mix 1 French vanilla pudding mix And the medium tub of cool whip (12oz) You also need 5 bananas and 1 box vanilla wafers. Layer half a box of vanilla wafers, half the bananas and half the pudding. Repeat. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

Giambott with chicken sausages last night. (I needed the veggies!)
Tonight's dinner is going to revolve around the head of cabbage that needs to be used.

Re: April 2020 Dinners
I'm considering a broccoli/carrot/celery rice and cheese casserole. I need to use up these veggies! I have no idea if my kids will eat this though. It's not something I normally make.

Re: April 2020 Dinners
Tonight we had biscuits and gravy with chicken sausage and a fruit salad. I used to make it a lot when my kids were younger and it's been ages; such comfort food!
