Tuesday to-do/five minute challenge

So ladies, what are you up to today or what do you hope to accomplish? I need to do dishes and tidy my bedroom and laundry rooms before the alarm monitoring company comes over to make changes to our system. The main panels are in the two rooms I listed. The counter full of dishes is in-between those rooms. I have 30 minutes!

I need to get the kitchen disaster from dh's fried chicken dinner cleaned up, so I can make lunch. Then I need to tackle the laundry that's piling up.

The workers have come and gone. They were 10 minutes early so you know how that went.

Has anyone seen the show Consumed? It might be a regional for my area. My 9yo ds and I are going to do a mini version of the show. First we will pull out all the things from his Lego room (more of a storage closet) and then clean, declutter and reorganize the space.

My other big thing I need to accomplish is to go through the kids' clothes with them and assess what is needed for the Fall.

I'm going to go grocery shop here shortly but hopefully I can play when I get back. I need to get my house back in order.

Dishes are mostly done, counters and stove cleaned, and lunch was made and eaten

I got one of laundry done, but not put away yet. For this afternoon I need to clean the bathrooms and do at least one more load of laundry. If I get moving I should help dd get her room organized. She had been sharing a room with ds for the last year and we just moved her back to her own room and are in the process of figuring out storage needs for her stuff.

I went through 11yo dd's clothes with her. We cleared a small mountain out of her drawers and closet.

Ds and I are making headway with the toy closet. There is more sorting than I had expected. I was just chatting with a friend who told me about a place that buys toys and clothes on the spot, without an appointment. I am going to see if I can sell some of the stuff, and donate what isn't accepted. I'm toying

with the idea of selling stuff on a local FB page too.

Vacuuming and bathroom cleaning was delegated and is done. I've done a few loads of laundry.

There is more laundry to wash and put away.

I made supper and cleaned most of it but still need to do the dishes, and I need to help ds with the wedding music and I need to make a phone call.
