Who has done individual online classes?
I'm considering adding in an online class or two for AJ next year. Googling has shown me there are a lot of options, so I'd like to get some feedback from users I can trust, like y'all. Anyone done any Christian online homeschool courses and want to tell me what you liked, didn't like, etc.? (And of course tell me what program and class it was!)

Re: Who has done individual online classes?
Dd1 did a middle school level Time4Writing course. She did very well in the course and I saw her produce work at a level she would never do for me. OTOH, she said it was boring and easy. This is also my child who I swore I would never directly teach LA again bc we fought about it all the time. Grain of salt and all that...

Re: Who has done individual online classes?
We did quite a few for my youngest dd at www.allinonehomeschool.com.There are a lot of options and choices there - all kinds
---------- Post added at 01:45 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:40 PM ---------- I liked the way that it was set up.Once you got to know the program very user friendly.I liked that they are set up and combine many things - things to rad, thing to watch or audio to listen to,links to various info, quizzes built in along the way, learning games that go along with the subjects like crossword ,word searches and others. She was not bored with tis kind of varied materials format. It was always different and interesting.Sometims there were things to print out nd do or projects like lapbooks in youngr grades if you choose to include them. Can kind of tweak and do what keeps your student interested nd learning

Subbing. Next year my oldest will be middle school age and I would like her to experiment with taking one class not taught by me.

My friend Joanna Hensley teaches a lot of children Latin online. It sounds very successful.
