Anyone know anything about Outlook?
I've been using Outlook at work now for 2 years, since I started here. Our administrative minister set everything up way back when -- but he's been gone since January.
We have a website & email through Network Solutions. I can access my email through their website, or I can have it come into Outlook. It's been working successfully for two years. Suddenly, yesterday it started giving me this message upon send/receive: Quote:

I'm so frustrated. I can go to the NS site and read my emails, but I can't put them into my neat tidy little folders to reference later. I can't hear the little "bing" that tells me I have a new email. ARGH! |

Re: Anyone know anything about Outlook?
I just set up my first POP3 account in Outlook this week. I'm no expert. But whenever I have weird things suddenly start happening like that, I make sure to restart my computer and often it helps to fix things. I know that seems super obvious, but have you tried it yet?

Re: Anyone know anything about Outlook?
Yeah I did. It was the first thing I tried. In fact, I think it did this last week & resolved when I restarted. But this week it's not helping.

Re: Anyone know anything about Outlook?
I know nothing. I had problems once, though, when my outlook mailboxes were full. If you haven't cleaned out your mailboxes recently (or ever ) it wouldn't hurt to try.

Re: Anyone know anything about Outlook?
I shot them another contact form telling them their last answer was useless. I got another response saying that it was too technical for email, I needed to call the tech line. That was like 4:45 so I thought I'd wait til tomorrow. About 5, it started working fine.

Re: Anyone know anything about Outlook?
Sometimes the problem is at the other end. And sometimes it clears up on its own. also, sometimes they change settings and we have to change ours.
