Wap/nt
I am hoping I am not the only one on here that follows Weston A Price's views on nutrition. I follow many recipes form nourishing traditions and have read some some similar cookbooks like Wild Fermentations and Nourished Kitchen. Right now I have sourdough starter, sauerkraut and yogurt fermenting and have kombucha, wag kefir and ginger beer brewing. My kombucha scoby is looking quite sad though, I think I might need to start over soon. Most of our dinners are based around bone broth with rice, meat and veggies and served with butter. Aside from the high priced Grassfed butter, I find it to be a frugal way to eat.
Does anyone have any favorite recipes or tips to share? What are your favorite WAP inspired cookbooks? Any tips on keeping nourishing traditions in your kitchen with a budget? Is there an older similar thread that I should have posted in instead? |

Re: Wap/nt
I think I will follow. I have never gotten into NT but it is kind of a thing around Steiner people. I can't tell you how many birthday parties I have been to that have soaked carrot cake! Other than that, I don't have anything to add but I think it is very interesting.

Re: Wap/nt
Hello fellow Steiner inspired mama! The school my daughter just started is a Steiner/Waldorf inspired school. Before I was single we homeschooled with some oak meadow curriculum and a lot hands on work like gardening, animals, weaving, woodwork etc. Out of the two dozen parents in her class, I think only one follows Nourishing Traditions.
