Where do you buy bath linens?

Where is the best place to buy bath towels? I have some that have been in our stash for 15+ years and need replacing. I bought some from jcpenney two years ago, and they're raveling already. I need something of good quality, but easy on the budget.

I normally purchase at jc Penney too.

I bought some Laura Ashley towels at kohls a few years ago. They are holding up well so far and staying soft. I need more too.

Lands End on sale/clearance. I only like 100% thick cotton bath towels and those are getting harder to find as cotton prices have risen. LE has good quality.

I like the ones we got at Kohls. You can often get a 30% off coupon and they end up fairly cheap.

The ones I have are 100% cotton.

Costco. And Ikea; ugly, but indestructible and absorbent. They were $5 each and refuse to die.

The Costco ones are the Charisma brand. I got some regular sized and some bath sheets, both have held up perfectly.

Honestly, it's much less of a store thing than a quality within the store thing, kwim? Each store usually carries several tiers of quality (and price).

My last set of towels were purchased at JCP. They held up really well and are still in decent shape. I just changed the colours of the bathroom. I purchased this set at Kohls and am so far pretty impressed with the quality.

We got a set of large white bath towels from Bed Bath and Beyond for a wedding gift 10 years ago and they are still going strong. More recently I bought a set of washcloths from Costco and they have held up really nicely.
