I don't have applesauce, how much oil in these muffins?

I want to make the toddler muffin recipe I found on here. I've made them a couple times now and peeled my carrot and zuchini without checking and I'm out of applesauce.

The recip calls for 3/4 c applesauce, 1/4 c oil , and 1/2 c brown sugar.

Can I make this work without applesauce? If so, how?

mashed bananas or grated apple to replace the applesauce? I don't think I'd add more than 1/4 c oil, maybe 1/2.

I'm out of banana but I have apples. I'll try a little more oil and some grated apple.

Guess I should learn to check ingredients before I start.

There have been many times I've had to stop and wait in the middle of a recipe for my dh to get home with that missing ingredient.

I hope grated apple works.

Is there flour? I've found you can put almost any amount of oil in muffins, I've used none before nad it came out fine, just drier. I'd probably add a little more but I'd bet they will be ok.
