Do you have a GOOD orange julius recipe?
My dd wanted one and I thought I would make some at home. However, the recipes I found on the internet.....well, something is off from the restaurant. Does anyone have a really good recipe to share??????

Did you try this one? Her recipes are usually pretty good.

My dad used to make one that was easily as good as the restaurant, and it had egg in it. |

Re: Do you have a GOOD orange julius recipe?
We found out that rice milk makes a good orange julius. Lots of ice, a fresh orange or two, vanilla rice milk. You can add a frozen banana as well. You can use frozen oj concentrate if you want. But, I love it with the fresh orange.

Re: Do you have a GOOD orange julius recipe?
thanks everyone! I'll try it with egg. That's what I didn't have in there. That and added sugar. I don't think it needs the sugar, but probably needs the egg to make it more creamy?
---------- Post added at 05:36 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:29 PM ---------- OR the instant pudding packet? I think I'm going to try the pudding first. Raw egg scares me......

where i used to work they said the reason for the sugar being powdered was to make them "frothy"
