Question Healing Tooth Decay what Oils are good?

I know Green Pastures Fermented CLO wwas always recommended. But if i recall correctly some things came out in 2015 about their oils not being so great. I recall when we used them they keft us with disgusting tasting stinky burps which if I understand right is an indication of being bad oils..

I need a way to get really good vitamin solulable oils in my kids. I took my older two to the dentist this morning and they have 2 cavities.: ( dd2 has them in a permanant molar.

Advice for healing them? I want to try, take a few months and just do whatever we can to heal them and if there is no improvement we will go ahead and get them filled.

What oils would you recommend for oil pulling? And supplements?

Olive oil is supposed to be the best for oil pulling. Some use coconut. You can Google toothpaste recipes that have a coconut oil base, too.

Clove oil stops the pain.
All oils are anti bacterial.

Oil pulling is good. Not sure if kids can tolerate doing that though as it needs to be for 15-20 minutes iirc.

Do they have sealants? If they're done properly and checked by the dentist at each visit, sealants really do help prevent decay. We also do the ACT fluoride rinse every night.

We don't do fluoride at all.
We see a holistic dentist that doesn't use fluoride either. I am using an ozone oil on their teeth and a clay based tooth paste on them (we just started a month ago, honestly I think they have cavities because we were using a bad flouride-free tooth paste for like 2 years. we switched to Earth Paste and everyone's teeth have been looking great. ).

I could probably do Sesame Oil. They would probably handle swooshing it for a minute or two in the morning and evening, it's better than nothing.

It might be!

I agree, a few minutes is better than nothing. And the homemade, coconut oil toothpastes are super easy to make.

I would recommend coconut oil based from my brother's experience. He was suffering from excruciating pain because one of his molars is getting decayed.
He took 1 tsp of VCO 3x a day until the pain is gone.
It is really a miracle oil since it is a natural antibiotic and antimicrobial alternative.

I'm using uncle Harry's tooth products to heal. The pain is gone and so I'm hopeful it's working.

I'm not sure if this is the right way but this is what we do
Carlsons cod liver oil since I can no longer afford fermented.
Lots of offal, it's about the only grass eat we can afford. This includes liver at least once if not twice a week.
Grass butter daily! Lard is also loaded with vitamins.
No processed foods at all. Only fermented grains and honey, molasses, maple syrup for sugar.
I love the book Nutrition and Physical Degeneration.
Oil pulling with coconut oil. Or for my youngest just chew in a chunk and eat it they think coconut oil is a treat too yummy to spit out.
Tooth powder or paste with no glycerine. I try to find ways to make it without baking soda but often fail. My favorite is charcoal and coconut oil with a few drops of cinnamon and clove but it is soooo messy! My kids love baking soda, real or rock salt with coconut oil and either almond and vanilla extract or peppermint. Any suggestions for no baking soda but not too salty tasting powder or paste? Lastly a swish with saltwater after brushing.

I'm curious, why are you wanting to avoid baking soda? I make tooth powder that's baking soda, salt, and bentonite clay with a couple drops of peppermint EO. You could probably skip the baking soda and use more clay? I don't measure, just dump a spoonful of each in the container and shake it up.

Oh it's been ages since I used bentonite clay, I used to use it in DIY deodorant. I am planning a trip to the local co-op soon and will add it to my list.
I have heard baking soda can be too abrasive when it is the primary ingredient. I don't even remember where I heard it but since then I have always tried to have no more than half baking soda.
