Headaches when eliminating gluten

I've been on a few trips this summer and my eating which is usually low gluten was bumped up and the bread and cheese express has been ridden way too long. I also think it is possible that some of my little stomach pooch is because of wheat. When we did a big cleanse it virtually went away. So this week I've intentionally been eating gluten free. I have woken up with little headaches everyday so far. Could these headaches be from detoxing?

It's a 'carb flu' - unless you simply replaced the wheat with other grains. And yes, the pouch is from gluten - it's inflammation in the tissue which means you retain water. Basically, bloating

I was afraid of that. I didn't think much of it when we did an elimination diet because so much was removed and I was living in a pit of migraine pain anyway at the time.

I have not removed all grains but am low grain in general at the moment with only 3 servings a day. Yesterday was the worst so far and maybe that's because I didn't have any grains at all until 9:30 pm when I stole a handful of my daughters stove top coconut oil popcorn.

Makes me curious to see what the results will be by September.
