Aldens. It's an organic brand, comes in big tubs.

Ive never seen a big tub without HFCS but its removed from plenty of the smaller sized varieties.
I usually buy the blue bunny natural Vanilla

ingredients : Milk, Cream, Skim Milk, Sugar, Egg Yolks, Natural Vanilla Extract and Vanilla Bean Specks.

or Breyers which is also pretty simple but they have added Tar gum which I just dislike though I don't consider a "forbidden" ingredient.

Honestly I don't really care for haagen Das and we only get the tiny tubes. Our local Kroger brand and even Walmarts plain vanillia bean are HFCS free and contain overall few ingredients.

Honestly in the end for this I'm not looking into solving every "issue" I don't want gluten or HFCS but I'm a bit ehh on the other stuff. It is a one time thing the other parents can decide if their kid can have some or not.

Ben & Jerry's did have a vanilla thathad no corn or gluten. (I have not checked it in a while)

If you were in the states near a Publix, they have 1/2 gallon Vanilla and Chocolate storebrand GREENWISE that is free of corn and gluten. It is delicious.

Have you considered making your own? It is pretty simple to do.

ben and Jerry are tiny I'd have to buy like 90 No where near such a store. I have zero desire to make it for what I'm doing...I'll just stick to Breyers I am aware its not ideal but again I'm not looking at ideal.

Haagen das and turkey hill are the only big ones I know of. My husband bought a big balloon once for a party so my son could have ice cream, and tha cashier was like Whoah no one buys the big one of that... LOL!

It is really, really good though!

not around here sadly. the hagen daz only come in the small pint sized and the turkey hill stuff is standard size. I am not a fan of turkey hill icecream tastes very chemical tasting to me.

We have the aldens but also not in anything big.. Honestly the ingredients list on that has never impressed me. To me not worth the price. I'll have to see what our Sams Club might carry.

For what it's worth since I have no idea if you have access to Costco. It's 2 half gallons bundled together for $10 I think ?

Making your own ice cream in an ice cream maker only makes about 5 servings and you can't reuse it until it refreezes so I would not recommend that for a party.

My ice cream maker makes 4 qts. That's a gallon. I don't know what you mean by you can't reuse it until it refreezes? You make it, then freeze it so it'll be hard. Then you serve it. You'd need to make it ahead of time. I'm planning to make ice cream for my dd's birthday party next week. That's why I chimed in on the thread.

I will likely need more than a gallon if I bring it out to the HS group.. Overall though I just don't have a machine nor do I know anyone with one. Plus I just don't want the extra work. It be fun for a home party though.

Which doesn't have the corn the Blue bunny or the Breyers? We don't have a corn allergy but if others do it be nice to give them something safe if I can.
