I just did a search here for a free firewall and I'm going to add the info here. Two GCMs recommended Zonelabs' free firewall.

Most people don't know it but you can get Microsoft Security Essentials for FREE. This is exactly what you pay for in the most expensive package from Norton (highest level) but FREE.
http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/ My dh is technology industry guru and won't use anything else.
