clotted 'roids

I've had clotted hemorrhoids after Corban's birth that I had to have the Dr lance and remove. PAINFUL!!!

I've struggled with 'roids this pregnancy more so recently now that there's a lot of pressure down there. Not a big deal when they were nice soft 'roids. I take rutin and that helps shrink them and they've been tollerable. Well, I noticed last night that a small one has become clotted.

It hurts, bad. Like I have a bad cut on my bum - but I don't. Once they become clotted, there's not much I can do, right? I wont have anything surgical done until after Asher comes, but goodness this is uncomfortable.

So, if you have any suggestions......

The second time I had clots removed wasn't even half as painful as the first time. I took the pain meds even though I was pregnant and found that I could take less if I stayed on top of the pain. And then I spent the day (yup, the whole day) soaking in a tub with post-partum herbs.

TMI warning: I don't know if it's because I have polyps or what, but I get them far less often if I avoid foods that don't digest well, like corn or whole flaxseed.
