cough, congestion, rattly breathing
me - not the kids.
This started on Monday w/ the cough and has not gotten better, but has only gotten a little worse. I think. But now my breathing seems a bit rattly if I breathe deeply. I cannot take decongestants due to high blood pressure. I am taking multivitamin, zinc, vitamin C, l-lysine, and some other vitaminy things that are supposed to help w/ blood pressure, and mucinex, hyland's bronchial cough (when I remember to), zyrtec, and robitussin DM. With all that I feel like I should be healing people every time I exhale. But, it is not seeming to help much. I still have the cough and stuffy nose and rattliness. Any other suggestions?

When I get that, the only thing that helps is Zyrtec.

I would stop the Robitussin DM because it is a suppressant and can keep you from being able to cough up the gunk.Mucinex has the active ingred. in plain robitussin which thins the gunk so you can cough it out.saltwater steam can also help along with warms garlic and oniony soups and broths
