Yes--perhaps they thought controversy had tarnished the brand, and that a new name would help put some distance between the criticism and their material.

Be that as it may, after a few years of the "Along the Infant Way" name, they changed back to Preparation for Parenting.

Well, after everything I ended up writing a blog post explaining why I believe babies were not designed to cry it out. I don't think I even covered half of what I wanted to but I had had some private messages from people who were curious about the whys and wanted more in depth answers....

I have gotten some positive replies both on my blog and on facebook, so YAY!!

I even saw that some people shared it on facebook besides me.

I know this was quite a while ago now, but I just want to encourage you to keep standing for what you believe is right. It's not exactly the same thing, but in my head is fairly similar where in 2 Chronicles 36:16 it says 'But the people mocked these messengers of God and despised their words'
That's specifically talking about prophets, but I think the principle remains that if you are saying something from the heart of God and people don't want to accept it then they are going to despise you for challenging them. Noone likes to be told they're wrong...but remember offence isn't given, only taken!
