If anyone can't find a knowledgeable doctor, you can order your own labwork. This is the most affordable I've found http://www.canaryclub.org/ You can get the thyroid panel (you need TSH, free T3, free T4, reverse T3, and antibodies), diurnal cortisol (to check adrenal function), and an iodine test. It's also a good idea to check the full iron panel (ferritin, %saturation, serum, transferrin). It's all OOP this way but the cost of long-term untreated hypothyroid is much higher.

Default Re: Natural support for low thyroid

Wow they are inexpensive. I paid double that for my adrenal testing and more for the thyroid. I think I will use these guys when I retest my adrenals in a few months.
