I have a lady who no longer wants her pikkolo, but is interested in a mei tai.
I offered her a trade for my Babyhawk - I feel that the Pikkolo will allow me to do more, seeing as it's snaps and not a tie. Anyone else use a Pikkolo? Am I making a good trade? Opinions and advice would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks, - Jenny ![]() The CatBirdBaby site: http://catbirdbaby.com/index.php/pikkolo-info

Wow, that's really generous trade!
I really like our Pikkolo. It is the only SSC that I've used and I find it really comfortable. It works great for back carries and longer trips. We use our BabyHawk for bedtime and the Pikkolo for out and about. I think you'll like it.

That makes me feel better! I wondered because no one was posting, and I kept thinking "what do they know, that I don't??" ![]() While I liked my BabyHawk, it was difficult for me, and when I saw an ad for a local lady who wanted a mei tai instead of her Pikkolo, I did some research and saw that it was very much like a Beco or Ergo. ![]() Do you find that you need the support band for the Pikkolo? Peace, - Jenny

I don't even know what the support band IS. So I guess not. ![]() The Urchin is just about 24 pounds at 24 months so she isn't really heavy. Maybe the support band makes a difference with heavier kiddos?
