Wild Wednesday 5 minute challenge/to do list

Morning ladies! Where are our UK ladies that are usually up and going?

I've got a fairly big to-do list today:
-morning meeting at my house about VBS
-make a meal to take to a friend that had a baby
-kids swim lessons
-finish putting away all our stuff from a BIG grocery/shopping day in the city yesterday
-laundry
plus all the normal feed/clothe/teach kiddos

So far, I'm listening to the thunder this morning! Dh is stirring up apple muffins for breakfast.

Hi ladies!

I've swept the kitchen, wiped the dining table, started laundry, and carried a bunch of stuff downstairs to the playroom.

Still to do:
Vacuum upstairs
Clean kitchen floor
Scrub tub and shower curtain
Clean mirrors in both bathrooms
Toilets
Sinks and counters
Sweep and clean bathroom floor/ shake out rug
More laundry
Pick up laundry room
Pick up playroom
Pick up kids' room
Finish picking up guest room

I'm not usually anywhere near that ambitious

but I have guests on the way.

scooped up arm loads of laundry, toys and shoes so it wouldn't look like a complete hovel when my daycare kids showed up.

I'm doing work remotely at Barnes and Noble while DS is at Dinosaur Camp (saving gasoline). So I'll play with my work tasks for now.

Got 6 notes done.

I was out this morning

So far today I have folded 2 loads of laundry, put away a total of 5 loads of laundry, hung out one load, one load in dryer and one load in washer.

I really need to cook tea (dinner) and wash dishes but I've been distracting myself with GCM and FB

Melissa, what kind of work do you do? I'm not sure if your post is code talk for hanging out and reading.

Kitchen is mostly tidied. I love that it hasn't been far gone bad in weeks and is so welcoming in the morning!

I have an appt. in about an hour so I'll play until then. Good morning, ladies!

Gathered laundry downstairs and flipped it twice.

Did the mirrors and the sink in the main bathroom and the mirror in ours.

Going to just buy a new shower curtain.

breakfast fed
tea brewing for kombucha
morning chore routine with kiddos
loaded dishwasher and started it running
laundry sorted and first load washing
almost all the "stuff" on my kitchen table cleared off from yesterday's shopping trip
did a happy dance on the scale this morning

Showered/dressed/hair dried
Did a quick poop check in all the rooms

(ds2, who is potty learning on his own, went pee on the potty while I was in the shower. Then he came in while I was getting dressed an said poop so I put him on the potty all the while thinking he had done it on the floor somewhere since he was running around all nakey. He hadn't.

AND this was his first time doing his big job on the potty!

I think it is time I bring out the little gitchies for him.)
