I wonder if there is an EO that might help with the mold that you could add in every so often....

That could do it. Maybe try a small hanging wetbag in another location? Or wash them more often. Or...what if you had something like this to dry your cloths before putting them under the sink?

That is an idea I will have to look into. I was thinking of trying vinegar, but an EO is worth some consideration, too.

I really like where they are under the sink, because it is easy for my dc to just throw them in there, so they don't have an excuse to leave dirty napkins all other the house. I think that definitely washing them more often is going to have to be the key.

Maybe mine don't mold because the spray I use (that gets on almost all my rags eventually before they go in the bin) is vinegar and water.

I rinse them out really well and then put them in a small laundry basket on top of the washer.

I throw mine in with my dish towels and dish rags. I have a tiny little garbage can that sits right next to my washing machine and I toss them all in there. I go through a ridiculous number of rags/towels/napkins in a day (I'm a little OCD about my kitchen habits ) so I wash a load of towels/rags/napkins at least twice a week.

I've been just leaving them spread on the side of the sink till they dry...but i don't think its working. Even with bleach in the wash, they all seem to smell of mildew - I'm buying new ones every few weeks Open to any suggestions re: getting rid of mildew...

My laundry room is right off my kitchen so they either just get thrown in there on the floor, in the diaper pail, or in the washer. I was atleast 2 loads of laundry a day and wash them in with my whites. We have an insane amoutn of laundry.

My laundry room is right off the kitchen. I have always kept a hamper there for utility laundry. It gets washed about three times per week.

I have a line over the sink that I hang wet cloths before they go into the kitchen laundry. i wash the kitchen load about once a week, in the winter it wasn't an issue to have the wet in the laundry basket, but last summer it was a problem.

I put mine in a regular laundry basket with the towels. I hang wet ones over the side of the basket. They dry within 2 days and then I throw them in, or I've done laundry by then
