Help for Dry Skin

by Jayme Harrison

For those of us in the colder states it's time to bring out the moisturizer but still keep your sunscreen! Cold, dry weather can make you look like your parents were alligators and you've inherited their scaly skin!!

Use your moisturizer after your bath or shower while your skin is still damp. Also, don't use petroleum jelly or mineral oil; they both can make your dry skin and chapped lips worse. Burt's Bee's has some great skin lotions you might want to check out.

Now, for those of you in the warmer states, don't forget your sunscreen when you are outside and use a lighter moisturizer if your skin gets dry.

God Bless to those basking in the warm weather from a girl shivering in the colder states.
