Can we start a list of links to free patterns?

I just got a sewing machine back and I'm itching for some new projects.

Maybe kids clothes, wallets/little bags, home decor, simple clothing, costumes, etc?

Anybody got some good ones?

Jen it's soooo easy! I made one for my niece this last April and it's her favorite thing to wear right now. It seemed intimidating at first, but really wasn't that hard. Just read though the comments at the end of the tutorial b/c there's some useful suggestions there - like pinning the circles together so your gathers end up even.

One of these days if we ever get some extra $$ I want to make a skirt for myself - but that'll be next spring more than likely.

---------- Post added at 12:54 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:32 PM ----------

for those that haven't - would you mind putting next to your link what the tutorial is for? I agree, this is the beginning of what could be a great sticky :tu

Here's a free tute/pattern for making a little kid's lapped tee. Adorable and you totally don't need the serger to make it. In fact I'm super lazy and refuse to keep anything but light grey in the serger (which goes with everything ;) ) so I'd just use a decorative stitch in the sewing machine that had one part on the ribbing and the other part catching the t-shirt fabric.

Love her tips for reusing the hem of the shirt and sleeves too:
