Sausage biscuits...
Did you know you can mix pre-cooked sausage in your biscuit mix to make sausage biscuits? :rockon No gravy necessary. We use Bob's Red Mill gluten-free flour in our biscuit recipe & chopped up turkey links. Make extra & store them in the fridge for grab-and-go breakfast later in the week. The sausage seems to keep the biscuit moist (hard to do with GF biscuits). :shrug3

Re: Sausage biscuits...
I think down here (in the south) it's lovingly referred to as "sausage balls" :yes

You can also dust some cheese (if you aren't dairy free) with the flour you use and add that into the mix. :shifty

Well, now this is getting heated! :giggle Yes, I make biscuit dough & add sausage. I'm thinking it's probably more biscuit, less sausage than the sausage balls.
